We are a nonprofit,
evolving organization that has been working for the
development activities of the needy. They are like those
people in the rain of poverty who need the umbrella
of employment and we are exactly the umbrella for their
shelter and protection. We work with Zeal & Zest
to ensure that the life quality of the poor is bettered.
Malnutrition gnaws away at the most valuable asset in
any country’s development: its children and its
workers. Food aid is one of the most effective deterrents
against long-term poverty.
We
apply a two-prong strategy: mobilizing grassroots self-reliant
action, and mobilizing local leadership to clear away
obstacles to enable grassroots action to succeed. Working
with a small but fiercely dedicated staff, in less than
000 years, Chamunda Mataji Dungar Public Trust Chotila
has built and managed an organization that showcases
how a simple step leads to the happiness of hundreds
of poor people. We empower local people to create lasting
society-wide progress in health, education, nutrition
and family incomes. We identify causes, processes and
analyze the development model that has been leading
to impoverishment and marginalization of the people
especially some highly vulnerable communities like the
tribal, davits, women and the landless communities who
have been horrendously affected. Chamunda Mataji Dungar
Public Trust Chotila India's strategic framework seeks
to systematically address the various political and
social impacts on people .We are committed to decentralized
planning and implementation as a basis for social reconstruction
and transformation.
We
toil to ensure that these processes are based on the
principles of self-determination and permanent sovereignty
over natural resources, as well as respect for human
rights and freedom. We believe that in a vast nation
like India, where natural resources are abundant, poverty
is like a sort of injustice meted out on millions of
needy Indians. We believe that everyone is entitled
to a life of dignity and opportunity; and we work with
poor communities, local partner organizations, volunteers,
and supporters to help people overcome their crisis
and know their basic human rights. |
